Summer STEAM Programme

I’m studying English in Ireland because in the future I want to study abroad. It’s been my dream since I was a child to study Medicine or something related to science, and Europe is very famous and prestigious. I came to Future Learning because I had heard about it from friends who had studied here before, and they talked really positively about their experience. My favourite activity might be music because I’ve been doing it since I was a child and I love it. I’ve also learned a lot of vocabulary in English from it which has been really useful for me. I like my teachers because they’re so nice and they really help us a lot in correcting our grammar and they teach us a lot of vocabulary. My classmates are very nice, we are all different nationalities, so when we want to talk to one another we have to communicate through English, so it’s a good opportunity to practice. My host family are so kind, we talk a lot and I like that. I find Irish culture very interesting, it’s so different from Spanish culture. I had heard the Irish language too and it’s so different. Typical Irish food is really good. The structures and the statues are really nice. I’ve been enjoying my experience here a lot and I would definitely recommend Future Learning to my friends!

I’d like to study abroad so I think speaking English is crucial to do that. Right now, I like watching films and TV series and I find watching them in their original language [English] is way better. I like spending time with my class and making friends, so in the lessons when we have activities they’re even better because we have fun while we learn. I like music, although I’m not very good at it, but I just have fun with it. I also like baking, I’m not used to cooking in Rome, but I’m enjoying learning. My teachers are always keen to help, which is during my stay here, I’ve learned a lot from them. My friends, the ones I spend the most time with here, they made my stay here unforgettable. They’ve made it easier to be so far from home. My host family has made everything here really, really, easy. I actually felt like I was at home with my own family. I think Irish culture isn’t too different from Italian culture, I had to get used to some things such as having scheduled times for meals, but at the end of the day, it’s not so different. I’d recommend Future Learning to all of my friends, and I’d also come back again if I could!

Summer STEAM Programme

The best part of my experience with Future Learning was for sure making new friends and creating a special bond with them. Also visiting new places and discovering myself better so doing many activities and challenging myself. I’d describe Future Learning as being challenging, fun and rewarding. We have lessons and then we practice some sports like Gaelic football, hurling and Irish dancing. Then we do Science, Art, baking and many other activities also. I really like sports so hurling and Irish dancing were probably my favourite activities. Future Learning has helped me learn how to communicate with my peers in English. I’m learning a lot of new words in our lessons but when we go out we have the opportunity to communicate with our teachers, with so many locals and with other students who are from other parts of the world. My experience in Ireland has been really good. I love this country, even though it is cold for my standards! I’m loving Ireland and its landscapes, its nature, the people are really nice and welcoming. I love everything about this country.

Summer STEAM Programme

I decided to come to Ireland because it’s a very European place. There are a lot of traditions that a lot of people don’t know about, and Ireland is not as well known as Italy. The best part of my experience were all the people I met here. All the teachers and the other students in my group were all very friendly and we all understood each other. All of the Future Learning staff helped us to have a great experience altogether so that was the best part. My experience studying in a college campus was strange at first, because I’m not used to a lot of the schedules, but you get used to it very fast, and you stay with a lot of people so you can share your experiences. I’d describe Future Learning as fun, interactive and useful. In the evenings we did activities based on Science, Arts, Photography, things like that. My favourite activity was Photography because my teacher was very good. We created really nice work and she gave us a lot of useful advice for taking great pictures. Future Learning was very helpful for learning to speak English, because in Italy we don’t speak much English. It was very interactive and I never felt bored, it was very fun and useful.
