Foundation Stage: Personal Communication in English
Levels A1 to A2
At the Foundation stage, FL’s 21st Century Communication Skills in English helps learners activate their passive knowledge of English, and enables them to successfully communicate their immediate needs while taking the first steps towards living independently in an English-speaking country.
Learner Outcomes
By the end of the course, participants will have improved their communication, collaboration, creative problem solving, and critical thinking skills. This will enable them to do the following in English and through technology in personal, professional and academic contexts:
1. Understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment).
2. Communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.
3. Describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment
4. Express themselves about matters in areas of immediate need.
