PROJECT BASED LEARNING THROUGH TECHNOLOGY

FLā€™s project based lessons aim to develop studentsā€™ communication skills in English and promote cultural awareness, while enhancing teamwork, leadership and the purposeful use of technology.

Pedagogy is extremely important to us, because a consistent approach is essential to a successful learning experience. All our courses are also designed to encourage the social interaction that is the other essential element of effective language learning. We also make strong links in our language lessons with a wide range of subject areas (e.g. science, history, geography, sociology, business, engineering, ICT).

By the end of their courses our students will have improved the communication, collaboration, creative problem solving, and critical thinking skills in English and through technology in personal, social, professional and academic contexts, as it is appropriate to their level.

Use of technology as a learning tool

At Future Learning students use technological tools whenever they can benefit their learning and form part of engaging and authentic project tasks. By making use of the everyday devices and applications that our students already have access to, we place our courses in their world and boost student engagement and motivation and help them develop their digital skills.

A showcase of student work

Our project based approach allows every student to show off a much wider range of skills and knowledge than is possible in standard language learning exercises. The digital products students create are shared with classmates, friends, and family all over the world, which provides a much greater source of motivation than work that is only visible to the teacher.

An innovative approach

We are conscious that the needs of our students change as fast as the world they live in and the technology they use every day. We are constantly developing our courses to meet those needs.

There is much more to learning with FL

Education at Future Learning is about much more than teaching languages. By focusing on developing studentsā€™ communication, collaboration, and creativity, along with their cultural and computer literacy skills, we provide a more complete and engaging experience than any other educational travel programme.
