Course: Stage 3 - Foundation for Study through English

“I decided to renew my English course with Future Learning because I had an excellent experience with them. Future Learning is not just a traditional English school, the project-based teaching method that they use makes the school distinctive from the rest. In Future Learning you will have the opportunity to improve all the necessary skills to comunícate fluently in real life, learning every day from different topics, discussing and giving opinions. Also, the staff members are very friendly and always ready to bring support”.

Course: Stage 2 - English for Professional Communication

“My experience at Future Learning was incredible,
I believe that technology is a great tool to use between teachers and students, mainly because my old school was very weak and did not care about the development of each student. FL made me happy the most when we were in the communicative and dynamic classes every day and taking a test every week to explore and develop our reading, interpretation, listening and writing. This helped me a lot in the process, I had very happy moments with the other students celebrating birthdays and projects.”

Course: Stage 3 - Foundation for Study through English

“Future Learning is a school completely unlike anything I've ever known. It may seem cliché, however, it is the truth. Mainly, the teaching methodology trains a student through experiences away from books and conventional approaches. And believe me, it works very naturally.

I'd say, with all certainty, that this year of study helped me to develop all areas of the language in a very fast and challenging way. I recommend the school to everyone who wants to expand their knowledge and get confidence: from young people to professionals. Future Learning has everything you might need."

Making Technology Work in the Classroom

When I was looking for a school, the FL methods were the most attractive. I came here to consolidate my knowledge and gain new skills, some of the methods are totally new to me, and some of them that are not new to me, I can see how they can be used in different ways. It gives me opportunity to explore the capital city, and I feel really comfortable here. It is a very friendly school with helpful staff and innovative methods of working with students.

21st Century Skills in English for Teachers

I was very happy with the course, I had a great teacher and the lessons were very friendly and relaxed. They weren’t all strictly focused on grammar, but more on practical use of language by telling stories and experiences, that kind of thing.
I enjoyed the afternoon programme where we took trips to Dublin Castle, Malahide, Trinity College and of course Temple Bar, where I tried Guinness! I’m happy to recommend Future Learning Erasmus+ to all of my colleagues, as there was a lot of English learning done in a fun way, with very nice people.

Erasmus+ Stage 3: English for Career Development

I’m enjoying my stay here very much and I think it’s a great school because it helps prepare us for teaching students using modern methods, which I appreciate very much.
It also gives us the opportunity to speak with other teachers and learners about the methodology we use at home and how we can improve our practices. I was also able to listen and learn from native English speakers which has made this an even better experience.

Summer STEAM programme

I came to Future Learning because I had heard about it from friends who had studied here before, and they talked really positively about their experience.

I like my teachers because they’re so nice and they really help us a lot in correcting our grammar and they teach us a lot of vocabulary.
My classmates are very nice, we are all different nationalities, so when we want to talk to one another we have to communicate through English, so it’s a good opportunity to practice. My host family are so kind, we talk a lot and I like that.

I find Irish culture very interesting, it’s so different from Spanish culture. I had heard the Irish language too and it’s so different.
I’ve been enjoying my experience here a lot and I would definitely recommend Future Learning to my friends!

Summer STEAM programme

I’d recommend Future Learning to all of my friends, and I’d also come back again if I could!

My teachers are always keen to help, which is during my stay here, I’ve learned a lot from them.
My friends, the ones I spend the most time with here, they made my stay here unforgettable. They’ve made it easier to be so far from home.
My host family has made everything here really, really, easy. I actually felt like I was at home with my own family.

I think Irish culture isn’t too different from Italian culture, I had to get used to some things such as having scheduled times for meals, but at the end of the day, it’s not so different.

Athlone Summer STEAM programme

The best part of my experience were all the people I met here. All the teachers and the other students in my group were all very friendly and we all understood each other. All of the Future Learning staff helped us to have a great experience altogether so that was the best part.

My experience studying in a college campus was strange at first, because I’m not used to a lot of the schedules, but you get used to it very fast, and you stay with a lot of people so you can share your experiences.

I’d describe Future Learning as fun, interactive and useful.

In the evenings we did activities based on Science, Arts, Photography, things like that. My favourite activity was Photography because my teacher was very good. We created really nice work and she gave us a lot of useful advice for taking great pictures.

Future Learning was very helpful for learning to speak English, because in Italy we don’t speak much English. It was very interactive and I never felt bored, it was very fun and useful.

Summer STEAM programme

The best part of my experience with Future Learning was for sure making new friends and creating a special bond with them. Also visiting new places and discovering myself better so doing many activities and challenging myself.

I’d describe Future Learning as being challenging, fun and rewarding.

Future Learning has helped me learn how to communicate with my peers in English. I’m learning a lot of new words in our lessons but when we go out we have the opportunity to communicate with our teachers, with so many locals and with other students who are from other parts of the world.

My experience in Ireland has been really good. I love this country, even though it is cold for my standards! I’m loving Ireland and its landscapes, its nature, the people are really nice and welcoming. I love everything about this country.

I think the way that Future Learning teaches using new technologies, it makes their lessons more interactive and full of activities so the students have fun while learning English.
I think it would be a great idea for people to come to Future Learning, it’s a different experience to how you learn English in school. It’s not just your teacher explaining grammar to you, it’s delivered through activities such as cooking and music, so you are learning in a fun and natural way. Future Learning is interactive, fun and friendly.

Future Learning is different from other schools because of the coexistence of personal life and input to a society path, which includes the creation of a students own web profile which we cultivate once the programme is completed. The opportunity the students have to live this experience, either in a college setting or with a host family, and the activities which can be curricular and extracurricular based around Irish culture is excellent.
Future Learning is supportive, for both students and staff, instrumentative in the information they provide the students, and allowing freedom of students’ creativity with their input.

Future Learning offers students the chance to be hosted with local families, it encourages them to embrace the experience and create a personal portfolio. In this way, it allows them to process what they are learning, similarly with other students from other countries. They get to experience a new culture and new places too. My students really enjoyed their time at Future Learning, in particular the trips to the main cities of Ireland, as well as all of the outdoor activities with all of their friends of many nationalities. To me, Future Learning is based around teamwork, technology and lots of fun with many outdoor activities.

I would say that what makes Future Learning Language school different from other schools is that they consider English, not just a mere subject that has to be learned from a theoretical point of view but as a tool for social interaction. The approach in Future Learning consists of using English not as a subject to learn but as a vehicle to learn other skills.
I would say that this approach is much closer to the natural process of acquiring a language. Imagine, a school without books, written exercises, or the need to take notes. Besides, excursions were also a very positive aspect as kids had the opportunity of learning about history and customs in Ireland.

Mindfulness in the Classroom

The course has broadened my vision about using technology to teach in class and it helps me to think more about using different projects to improve students' different abilities and prepare them for the new social learning environment.

Stage 3: English for Career Development:

The best part of my experience with Future Learning Ireland has been the projects. They actually made me feel as though I was building something in my personal life. It ranged from working on my curriculum to something as simple as understanding recipes.
Even just building my confidence which helped me prepare for my interviews. I highly recommend it, thank you!

Stage 1: Life Skills through English:

I think if you really want to learn English, you need to not feel afraid to ask people to help you. Irish people are very lovely and friendly and will try to help you. Future Learning has good methodologies, friendly people of all ages, and it makes me feel happy.
I’d recommend Future Learning to everyone. It is not the same as English courses we have in my country. I really think I’ve improved my English at Future Learning.
