PCTO Mini-stays – Percorsi per le Competenze Trasversali e l’Orientamento
FL’s “Working Life” programme gives students the opportunity to gain confidence in spoken and written communication, collaborate on projects and develop the skills involved in bringing them to a successful conclusion and generate ideas about what qualities they could bring to their future careers.
FL’s “Working Life” Programme is designed for the Italian Alternanza Scuola Lavoro ex L.107/2015 and updated Art.1, paragraph 785, L. 30/12/2018 n. 145.
The structure of the course provides students with the opportunity to gain a comprehensive insight into the working world and become aware of the qualities they have as they embark on their working life.
Learner Profile
This programme is for school groups who are interested in improving the 21st-century skills of communication, collaboration, creative problem solving and digital information skills through the medium of English. It gives them an engaging and meaningful context for developing these skills, through a programme that encourages them to engage with other cultures and explore the science, technology, engineering, arts and maths of the world around them as well as the life, landscape, art and literature of Ireland. The programme fulfils the requirements of Erasmus+ mobility funding for student groups as well as the Italian government’s PCTO programme.
The course is based on the same premises as the Mini-stay programme and gives the opportunity to:
- Choose from a wide list of projects
- Add up to 2 project related activities on top of the classes
- Certify the classes and activities hours for PCTO.
