Welcome to Future Learning
Future Learning is not your traditional English Language School. We not only focus on helping you improve your English Language skills but also on developing your collaboration, project management, critical thinking and digital skills! We are known internationally as a pioneer of project based, technology enhanced language learning.
FL Company Mission Statement
- To use the power of collaborative projects and technology as tools to explore, engage with and communicate a rich and authentic experience of the world, with its different cultures and languages.
- To be unique in what we do and to change the way people see educational programmes.
- To open learnersā minds to the range of skills that need to be developed in order to collaborate effectively with all types of people from any part of the world that they live, work and study in.
FL Vision
At Future Learning we believe that learning is social and that students learn more from working together through English than they would from listening to the teacher. Bringing technology into the classroom makes learning relevant to the world our learners are living in and while it not change the fundamentals of learning and language, it does give us more interesting ways to engage with it. We aim to help students transfer and develop the key 21st century Collaboration, Creative Problem, and Use of Information at the same time as they are improving their ability to communicate through English in order to improve their employment prospects and open pathways to career development and further study. A vital element of this is helping them become more autonomous learners who can take responsibility for their leaving and contribute to the feedback on their own and each others' work in a way that mirrors the roles they would be asked to play in workplace projects.
FL Values
Our values are present everyday within all departments at Future Learning. They are reflected in each of our classes and in everything which we do for our clients. We care deeply about our students, partners, host families and staff and collectively we always aim to provide the best possible learning experience for all FL students.
