Erasmus+ Stage 3: – English for Career Development

Future Learning’s Adult Course is divided into three stages according to English language level. At each stage the exit criteria are those specified in the relevant Integrated Skills Exam (ISE) for ILEP purposes by Trinity College London.

Erasmus+ students who join this course have an B2 (upper-intermediate) level of English and are working towards achieving C1. The learning activities are designed to develop participants’ communication skills through English and enable them to function effectively and participate fully at higher levels in a professional English speaking environment.

Learner Outcomes

During the course, participants work on a project to improve their communication, collaboration, creative problem solving, and critical thinking skills, and work toward achieving the following communicative outcomes from the CEFR:

  • Understand a wide range of demanding, longer academic texts, and recognise implicit meaning.
  • Express him/herself fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for expressions.
